BECHT’s architecture is driven by the desire for better cities, pleasant environments, and beloved public amenities, always led by a focus on designing architecture from an artistic standpoint.
Even in Peter Becht’s very first completed work, his aspiration for distinguished design of exceptionally high quality is evident. The transformation of the public space Østervold in Randers utilizes the topography to create different spaces for individuality, diversity, and community spirit, all shaped in a unique contemporary expression.
Since this initial success, his design methodology has become rooted in this core value, blending landscape and architecture seamlessly from the earliest stages. This is how BECHT contributes to architecture that explores every aspect of human life, striving to develop better environments with exceptional spaces to enjoy life. This is often achieved through collaboration with some of the best architects and landscape architects in the field.
Established in 2013, BECHT ApS emerged as a joyful adventure born out of this passion for design. Today, BECHT spans exhibitions and visionary projects to planning, urban spaces, and landscape design, including projects in five countries and 25 major cities.
