Today the area around Fisketorvet presents an outdated design which suffers from heavy traffic and accessibility barriers. Therefore, according the new stair designed by Dissing & Wietling Architects, we proposed a stronger design for the space, which also act as a connection to the shopping center in the West, which prioritizes the pedestrians. 

Our solution is to include a new material palette based on natural stones and dark masticate asphalt, built on a strong visual identity which pays homage to the city’s historic use of stone.
