The museum stands as a transparent block "Ice Cube" on the edge of the ridge

Swedish Landscape Award to Peter Becht 2005

The Kasper Salin Award 2004

We expose the ridge behind the museum being visual as an impressive landscape element, including black rocks and and dark big oaks. In contrast the entrance area in front of the museum forms a platform for cultural events, in a bright expression as an inviting space into the museum.

The design is of a high quality reflecting elements such as walls, terraces and benches, expressing fragments of the Ice Cube.
