We think that a contemporary furniture is not only for a couple to use but for many more purposes. Our aim was therefore to design a bench not only to sit on, but also for rest, stay, picnic, play, work and read. Including to be comfortable for elderly and handicap people. 

All demands about multiuse, easy to move, and even robust to a hard winter in north of Sweden, become solved in a collaboration between the producer GF Form, and Västerbottens Handicap Union.

Umeå Bench is one element with several functions, designed and produced in three form, for the public space Rådhusesplanaden in Umeå.
