Alby Nature Reserve in Tyresö Sweden

It began as a collaborative landscape architect workshop, striving to find new solutions to contemporary challenges to others and the spaces we inhabit

BECHT was later founded by Peter Becht in july 2013 based in Copenhagen, Denmark, remaining true to it´s way of thinking since its inception.

BECHT received its first commission to reconceive the main public space Østervold in Denmark after winning an international design competition. This was followed the years to come by several commissions by competition winning proposal.

Today we range from masterplans and visions, spaces and landscape to exhibitions, includes projects in five countries and 25 major cities.

We always provide the projects with ideal conditions

From our perspective, successful project requires a process founded on trust and strong cooperation between all involved parties based on openness and dialogue.

We work therefore with a highly collaborative design method, involving clients, stakeholders, and experts from a wide range of fields from early on in the creative process. The output is acclaimed for both its craftsmanship and processing.
